God is present in every cell and atom, yet we feel his presence predominantly in temple. Sri Narasimha Giridhari Mandir is famous all over the world for our charming deities. The divine presence of the Lordships is a big blessing for the entire Bangalore community.

Giridhari

Lord Krishna is the source of unlimited power wealth, fame, beauty, wisdom and renunciation. All his activities are charming and unparalleled. His transcendental form is full of bliss, truth, and dazzling splendor with the beauty of a blooming youth. Being the origin of all, yet one without any origin, He is the supreme personality of godhead. Here, Lord Krishna is named as Lord Giridhari – the one who lifted the majestic Govardhan hill. As Lord Giridhari protected the people of Vrindavan from torrential rains by lifting Govardhan hill, he always protects his pure devotees from all dangers. No one can harm a person who is under Lord Krishna’s protection.

Srimati Gandharvika

Srimati Radha Rani is the internal pleasure potency (Hladini Shakti) of Lord Krishna. Her love for Lord Krishna is beyond our intelligence and imagination. Here, she is lovingly addressed as Srimati Gandharvika because she is expert in singing and dancing. Every soul gets attracted to Sri Lord Krishna but Lord Krishna himself gets attracted to Srimati Radharani. Even the Gandharvas and Apsaras cannot match up to one millionth of her talents.

Lord Sri Krishna Chaitanya

Around 500 years ago, the Supreme Lord appeared as a devotee of Sri Lord Krishna, Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in Navadwip, west Bengal, India. Extensive evidence found for this truth in vedic scriptures such as Bhagavat Puran, Adi Puran, Kurma Puran, Garuda Puran, Padma Puran, Brama Puran, Matsya, Varaha,Vayu, Markandeya Purans, Ananta samita, Great epic like Mahabharata(Dana Dharma Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra).

He introduced the Harinam Sankirtan movement, congregational chanting of the Supreme God’s names. It is the most effective means by which anyone can achieve spiritual perfection and go back to Godhead. He became a sannyasi at the age of 24. By spreading the teaching of Srimad Bhagavatham and promoting sankirtan, he has won the hearts of many great scholars.

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha dev

The journey of Sri Narasimha Giridhari Mandir began with the construction of a small Lakshmi Narasimha dev temple in the year 2008. The Supreme Personality of Godhead appeared as Lord Narasimha dev to protect his five-year-old devotee Prahalad from his atheistic father Hiranyakashipu. The demoniac King Hiranyakashipu took a benediction from Lord Brahma that he can be killed neither by a man nor by an animal, neither inside the house nor outside the house, neither during the day nor at night, neither on ground nor on the sky. This is the reason, the Lord appeared intelligently in a half-man half- lion form (Narahari). Lord Narasimha dev continues to protect all his devotees who take his shelter.  Narasimha dev’s beloved consort Sri Lakshmi Devi is the goddess of wealth, love and beauty. She blesses everyone with both material and spiritual prosperity.

As the most ferocious form of the Lord, he wears two garlands of intestines.
